April 29, 2002 -- Phoenix Imaging has just release a new
product in the
compact machine vision systems family. The Sharp IV-S35 is designed for easy installation and rapid
configuration. The product offers the same compact size and extensive
features found in the Sharp IV-S33 but is even more powerful and support both
color and monochrome sensors. The
new Sharp IV-S35 offers the automation engineer the power and flexibility that
has not been previously available in a compact image processing system.
IV-S35 Compact Color Machine
Vision Systems

This product offers exceptional image quality because of the "full
frame" progressive scan sensor technology in both color and monochrome
sensors. It can acquire crisp, clear images
even when the objects are moving. All of the members of the
IV-S30 family provide two
channels for simultaneous acquisition from a pair of sensors. The sensors
are slightly larger than 1 cubic inch in size. The IV-S35 acquires full
frame images in 33.3 milliseconds using standard speed sensors.
The new IV-S33 acquires full frame images in 16.6 milliseconds using a new
high speed sensor. The IV-S33 also offers a new micro-head sensor to fit
even the tightest applications, the sensor is only 17mm diameter.
Two conventional EIA format camera can also be connected to each IV-S33
controller using the optional IV-S30EA1 converter. This options allows the
use of low cost EIA format cameras.
Phoenix Imaging offers both
products in several different package configurations. The basic IV-S35 kit can be
purchased for integration into existing equipment for less than $6500 including
one sensor, teach pendant and application manuals. Phoenix Imaging also
provides the products in industrial NEMA 12 packaging with dual power supplies,
16 channels of digital I/O, and filtered forced air cooling for less than $9900. The
PVS-30 and PVS-30-M1 models are designed for true
"out-of-the-box" operation in your plant environment. Call us
