Phoenix Imaging offers a complete line of CCD cameras designed for machine vision applications.  The cameras are available in monochrome (black & white) and color (RGB) formats.  The both type of cameras are available in standard and remote head configurations.

This section provides information about monochrome CCD cameras.  The monochrome CCD camera is the most widely used sensor in machine vision applications today.   Hundreds of different CCD cameras are available from a wide range of sources.   So why purchase CCD cameras and accessories from Phoenix Imaging?  The answer is simple.  Phoenix Imaging not only offers cameras for sale but actually implements them in machine vision applications everyday.  We are not only a supplier, we are a user.  We are constantly evaluating CCD sensors for new applications on a daily basis.  By evaluating a wide range of CCD sensors we are able to select the units that provide the best cost to performance ratio.  If the product meets our requirements we then offer them for sale to our customers knowing that they will be satisfied with the products performance and value.

The monochrome camera is the workhorse on the machine vision industry.  It is expected to replace the complex sensors of human being (our eyes) for critical inspection task.  We have found several unique CCD models that earned a place in our standard product offering.  As technology improves our standard product offering will likely change.
