Releases Sharp MX Controllers
- The Menu Tree Structure

The Sharp IV-S31MX/S32 MX/S33MX controllers are the latest generation of
compact machine vision
systems from Phoenix Imaging. The products offer an enhanced
"Menu-Tree" and "Set-up Wizard" to reduce implementation
time of the machine vision system. The latest "MX" models
show the setting details as a menu tree that lets you see the layered
organization of the set-up screens. This allows the user to easily
select or go to another screen from the menu tree.

- The new MX system allows the user to edit the operation screens by
moving, enlarging (or reducing) and hiding menu items. New features
have been added to the software for the setting automatic threshold values
by sliding lines on a histogram. The inspection windows can now be
programmed by the user to include shapes with up to 32 sides.

Releases PVS-30-M1 Compact Machine Vision System
 - The PVS-30-M1 is the latest in the PVS-30 family of low cost Compact
Machine Vision Systems. The PVS-30-M1 is available in three different
configurations using either IV-S31, IV-S32 or IV-S33 image processors.
The product is designed for application that
must be designed and installed within a short timeframe, typical delivery 3 - 4 weeks. The PVS-30-M1 is a low cost machine vision system that does
not require a PC to program or setup. The system offers 8 optically
isolated inputs / 8 optically isolated outputs, internal power supplies for
processor, I/O and lighting, NEMA type-4 electrical enclosure and a built in
10.4" TFT flat panel display. The PVS-30-M1 system starts at
$9,900 U.S. with one sensor, additional sensors are < $1,000 U.S.

Introduces Sharp IV-C35M Color Image Processing System
for industrial applications
- The Sharp IV-C35M Compact Machine Vision Systems offer power, speed and now
uses color or monochrome sensors. The color inspection algorithms
provided as part of this package are often found in more expensive systems. The
IV-C35M is available now and is the "top of the line" of the
IV-S30 family. It
offers more program memory (64 programs), more tools, 360° image rotation, faster image processing
and color capability. This product is "HOT" and will impress even the most skeptical
